Man Utd make Leny Yoro and Jadon Sancho decisions as squad to face Rangers revealed

I’mManchester United have named their squad to take on Rangers in a pre-season friendly this afternoon – with decisions made over Leny Yoro and Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United recently finalized the signing of Yoro from Lille for an initial fee of £50 million. The 18-year-old French player did not participate in Euro 2024, nor is he included in the Olympics squad after being withdrawn by his former club.

Meanwhile, Sancho has been reintegrated into United’s first team following positive discussions with manager Erik ten Hag last Friday. The club aims to move past their previous public dispute over Sancho’s training performances last summer.

Manager Ten Hag faces other selection decisions as players return from international duty and recover from injuries, including Harry Maguire and Tyrell Malacia.

United has now confirmed their squad, with Yoro and Sancho set to make their pre-season debuts alongside Amad Diallo and Andre Onana, who missed the recent 1-0 loss to Rosenborg.

However, Victor Lindelof, Antony, and Marcus Rashford, who played in the Rosenborg match, are absent due to minor injuries. Among the Euro 2024 participants, Scott McTominay is the closest to returning following Scotland’s exit in the group stage, but he is expected to miss the upcoming Rangers clash.

Similarly, Maguire, who was sidelined by injury and missed Euro 2024 entirely, and Malacia, who has been recovering for over a year, face ongoing rehabilitation. The complete squad comprises:

**Goalkeepers:** Mee, Onana, Vitek
**Defenders:** Aljofree, Amass, Bennett, Evans, Fish, Jackson, Murray, Ogunneye, Oyedele, Wan-Bissaka, Yoro
**Midfielders:** Casemiro, Collyer, Fletcher, Hannibal, Mather, Mount, Scanlon
**Forwards:** Amad, Ennis, Hugill, Sancho, Wheatley
