Four clubs have registered their interest in Jadon Sancho including one from the Premier League

A handful of clubs in Europe are interested in signing Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, according to reports, including former side Borussia Dortmund.

Since it was revealed that Manchester United might consider selling Sancho for £40 million this summer, there has been significant speculation about the 24-year-old leaving Old Trafford.

Sancho was excluded from United’s first team in September after he reacted to Erik ten Hag’s comments about his subpar performances during training. Following a six-month loan stint at Borussia Dortmund, he returned to Carrington this summer and played in their pre-season match against Rangers last Saturday.

Ten Hag, who wants to move past the incident that led to Sancho’s exclusion from first-team training, has expressed confidence that Sancho will find his form at United.

However, it seems a transfer could be on the horizon, as several clubs have shown interest in signing him. Last week, reports emerged that Sancho is nearing an agreement on personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain after receiving a contract offer from the French club.

According to a report from Sky’s Dharmesh Sheth, PSG has not yet made a formal approach for Sancho, but they have been investigating the terms of a potential deal. Despite this, French publication Foot Mercato claims Sancho is highly enthusiastic about the project presented by PSG.

In addition to PSG, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, and an undisclosed Premier League club have shown interest in signing Sancho.

Manchester United, on the other hand, prefer a straightforward sale of Sancho, understanding that financial constraints due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations will limit their transfer budget.

Erik ten Hag recently discussed his pre-season conversation with Sancho upon the player’s return from Dortmund. He told Dutch outlet AD Sportwereld, “We had a good conversation. Everyone can make mistakes. If the player reflects on it well, then we draw a line and move forward.”

He emphasized the importance of having good players at the club, stating, “One thing is certain: Jadon Sancho is a tremendously talented player. I hope that he will find his rhythm and contribute to our success.”
