Real Madrid eliminates Barcelona’s dreams and seals the deal of the century

Spanish media reports highlighted Real Madrid’s frustration with Hansi Flick’s early plans as Barcelona’s new coach regarding a significant transfer deal in the current summer transfer window. Real Madrid quickly thwarted Hansi Flick’s plan, according to the reports. Marca, a Spanish newspaper, indicated that Real Madrid was unfazed by Barcelona’s attempts to secure the top player from the German League this summer. The newspaper also noted that the same agents who correctly predicted Kylian Mbappe’s transfer to Real Madrid last year, despite initial denials, now claim there is a concluded agreement between Wirtz and Real Madrid. As per the agreement reported by Marca, Wirtz will continue playing with Bayer Leverkusen for an additional season and then join Real Madrid for 150 million euros in the summer of 2025.

The German newspaper Marca cited information from Bild, confirming that Wirtz would join Real Madrid for 150 million euros. According to the Spanish newspaper, Wirtz’s move to Real Madrid is independent of the future of Xabi Alonso, Bayer Leverkusen’s coach.

Florian Wirtz, a star at Bayer Leverkusen, is a primary target for Real Madrid in the summer of 2025. Recent reports suggested that Flick plans to personally convince Wirtz to reconsider and choose Barcelona instead.
