Arsenal stu.ns Barcelona and is close to finalizing the season deal from Barcelona

Arsenal is set to surprise Barcelona’s management and coach Hansi Flick with a major move, as the London club nears finalizing a key transfer deal this season, guided by Spanish coach Mikel Arteta. Arsenal aims to bolster its squad to stay competitive in the Premier League and progress further in the Champions League. They are capitalizing on Barcelona’s financial struggles to target one of the Catalan team’s crucial players.

In response to this situation, the Spanish newspaper *Sport* has reported that Arsenal is aiming to sign Martin Zubimendi, the standout midfielder from Real Sociedad, in the near future. Zubimendi, recognized as one of Europe’s top defensive midfielders, is attracting interest from both Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has noted that the 25-year-old player is content at San Sebastián, stating, “Martin Zubimendi is still very happy at Real Sociedad. He loves the club, the city, and the fans.”

He also mentioned, “If any club triggers his release clause, it will be up to the player to decide his next move, but he is definitely a target for both Arsenal and Bayern Munich.”

Real Sociedad is demanding 60 million euros for the player, a significant sum that Barcelona is struggling to afford due to its severe financial difficulties, which could lead to Zubimendi joining Arsenal.
