43 goals and 15 assists.. Barça finds a new scorer for Flick

A major announcement was made just a few hours ago, revealing that Barça is closely monitoring the situation of a player who might enhance their attack. Although no sale has been finalized yet, Joan Laporta plans to offload Ferran Torres, Raphinha Dias, and Vitor Roque, who joined in January but has not lived up to expectations.

All of them are on the transfer list, and if a strong offer comes in, Camp Nou officials will be willing to let them go. This move would generate significant revenue, but it would also require bringing in new stars to fill the void in the attack.

One player currently under scrutiny, and who appears to especially impress Deco, is Victor Gyokeres. He had a standout year during his debut season in Portugal.

He joined Sporting de Portugal after shining in the Championship, but few anticipated his rapid adaptation and outstanding impact. He became the key offensive player for the Lisbon team and their star, as demonstrated by his 43 goals and 15 assists across all competitions. These impressive figures establish him as one of the top strikers at present.

He was undoubtedly the key figure in their Primeira Liga triumph at the José Alvalade Stadium, and many top-tier clubs have shown interest in signing him. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Atlético de Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, and Juventus have all expressed interest in the Swedish international, and now Barça must also be added to the list.

Laporta and Deco are considering enhancing the attack options for Hans-Dieter Flick, with Gyokeres being a particularly favored choice due to the strong recommendations from scouts. However, Barça is aware that acquiring the former Coventry City, Swansea City, Brighton & Hove Albion, or St. Pauli player will be costly, with a price tag exceeding 65 million euros. This represents a significant investment, especially since Gyokeres would likely be a backup to Robert Lewandowski. Nevertheless, a last-minute surprise cannot be ruled out.
