Manchester United fans have named the surprise player who should start their first Premier League game of the new season following his stunning pre-season showing.

Marcus Rashford, Amad Diallo, and Casemiro all scored, but Erik ten Hag faced two more injury setbacks as the new season approaches.
Despite the two injuries sustained against Betis, Manchester United fans on social media highlighted a major positive from their recent pre-season match.
Many praised Amad’s performance and argued that he should be included in the starting lineup for their league opener against Fulham in the 2024/25 season.
He consistently posed a threat on the right wing and earned a penalty for his team, which was converted by Rashford.
The 22-year-old also played a role in Casemiro’s goal and concluded his performance with a goal of his own, scoring with a powerful shot from inside the box.
Manchester United fans are urging Ten Hag to include Amad in the starting lineup for their league opener on August 16.
