Carlo Ancelotti resolves the controversy and announces the player most likely to win the Ballon d’Or 2024

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, in a podcast interview, selected the player he believes has the best chance of winning the 2024 Ballon d’Or. The Italian manager aims to guide Real Madrid to more titles this season and replicate last season’s success where he led the team to victory.

In a podcast interview with Nigerian Obi Mikel, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti named Vinícius Júnior as the player he believes is most likely to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or. Ancelotti, who aims to lead Real Madrid to more titles this season and repeat last year’s success of winning both La Liga and the Champions League, also praised Dani Carvajal for his strong performance, highlighting Carvajal’s contributions in the final match and his victories with Real Madrid and Spain.

Ancelotti added, “Vinícius is a talented, young player with a strong presence who won both the Spanish League and the Champions League and scored two goals in Munich.” He also praised Jude Bellingham for his outstanding season, contributing to both the Champions League and league victories, and noted that it was surprising he was the league’s best player last season.

Ancelotti further commented on Manchester City’s Rodri, describing him as a top midfielder with consistent performance.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Ancelotti’s remarks upset Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, who felt that Ancelotti should have acknowledged him as a strong contender for the Ballon d’Or alongside Vinícius Júnior.
