Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are keen on Julian Alvarez, and Guardiola would receive $200 million if the Argentine departs. Alvarez’s potential exit from the Etihad Stadium could create significant movement in the transfer market, as he is weighing his options with interest from several top European clubs.

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid officials are aware that Pep Guardiola has identified two players he values should Alvarez leave Manchester City. The report also notes that Manchester City will actively seek replacements if Alvarez moves, aiming to bring in players of comparable or superior quality, given the significant interest from PSG and Atletico Madrid in the talented forward.

Guardiola is already planning how to reconfigure his team if Julian Alvarez departs, aiming to secure the league title for the fifth consecutive year. To achieve this, Manchester City’s target is to sign players who are close to joining Real Madrid.

The newspaper reports that Guardiola is focusing on two key players to bolster Manchester City if Alvarez leaves: Florian Wirtz, a German player and a top target for Real Madrid in the summer of 2025, and Rodrigo, Real Madrid’s talented Brazilian star.

According to the newspaper, Real Madrid president Perez is firmly opposed to Rodrigo’s departure, and the club is nearing a final agreement to bring Wirtz to the Bernabéu next summer. Consequently, any efforts by Manchester City to acquire these players are likely to be unsuccessful.
