Barcelona Manager Xavi Confirms they Preparing £50m for 22 year old Bayern Munich Star who wants to leave club this summer due to lack of play time

Barcelona manager Xavi has confirmed that the club is preparing to offer £50 million for a 22-year-old Bayern Munich player who wants to leave due to limited playing time.

One of Barcelona’s key goals for the upcoming summer transfer window is to enhance their left flank, where they currently lack natural wingers.

While Ferran Torres, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal prefer playing on the right, and even Joao Felix, if acquired permanently, does not serve as a traditional wide player, Barcelona is actively searching for a true winger to strengthen their left side.

Despite Athletic Club’s Nico Williams signing a new contract with a substantial €50 million release clause in December, Barcelona is still keeping an eye on him as a potential target.

Additionally, Barcelona is considering “low-cost” alternatives, with Bayern Munich’s Bryan Zaragoza emerging as a potential option.

Zaragoza, a 22-year-old winger, transferred from Granada to Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.

His adaptation to Germany has been difficult, primarily due to the language barrier, leading to minimal playing time. Since his arrival at Bayern, Zaragoza has played only 35 minutes.

With Bayern Munich set to hire a new manager to replace Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season, Zaragoza’s future at the club is uncertain.

If the new manager does not include Zaragoza in their plans, Barcelona might consider a loan move for the Spanish international.

Before joining Bayern, Zaragoza showed promising form in La Liga, scoring six goals and providing two assists for Granada in 21 league appearances this season.

Given his previous performance in Spain, Zaragoza could be a valuable loan option for Barcelona if they pursue this route.

Ultimately, Barcelona’s decision will depend on the new Bayern Munich manager’s view of Zaragoza’s role in the team’s future. If Zaragoza becomes available for loan, Barcelona could leverage his talent and La Liga experience to enhance their left flank for the upcoming season.
