Surprise: Juventus seeks to finalize the contract with the Barcelona wing in the current Mercato

Barcelona is keeping a close watch on the summer transfer market and is waiting for the right moment to enhance its squad and address the needs of German coach Hansi Flick. Notably, Barcelona has already made its first summer signing by acquiring Spanish star Dani Olmo from Leipzig, with the player set to officially join the team this summer.

In a surprising turn of events, reports indicate that a key player from Barcelona’s first team is nearing a move to Juventus this summer. According to the Italian website Calciomercato, Juventus is in talks to sign Brazilian winger Rafinha Diaz from Barcelona to bolster their attacking options.

The site also noted that, following a challenging season for Rafinha at Barcelona, the player could leave the club during the current transfer window. Barcelona is seeking to strengthen its wing position and has set a price of 50 million euros for Rafinha’s release. Additionally, the site highlighted that Rafinha holds an Italian passport, which facilitates his registration with Juventus, given that the club has no remaining slots for non-European Union players.
