Man Utd fans notice something worrying about Noussair Mazraoui in footage of Bayern Munich player boarding flight

Manchester United fans think they have spotted something worrying about Noussair Mazraoui in footage of the Bayern Munich star boarding a flight to England.

Manchester United is poised to acquire Moroccan full-back Mazraoui from Bayern Munich in a deal valued at approximately £17 million.

Additionally, United will spend £43 million to bring Bayern centre-back Matthijs de Ligt to their squad.

Both players arrived in Manchester on Monday morning to complete medical examinations at Carrington before finalizing their contracts.

Mazraoui is set to sign a five-year contract with an option for an extra year. Early Monday morning, Sky Sports journalist Ben Heckner posted footage of the 26-year-old arriving at the airport before taking a flight to Manchester.

While United fans were enthusiastic about the developments, some expressed concern after noticing that Mazraoui seemed to be walking with a slight limp. This raised worries given United’s recent struggles with defensive injuries.

One concerned fan asked on X, “Is my bro limping, or is it just a cool walk/strut?” Another remarked, “Is he injured? He looks like he’s walking with a limp.”

Another fan commented, “It looks like he’s limping; I hope he’s okay.”

Manchester United aim to finalize the signings of both Mazraoui and De Ligt in time for them to feature in their Premier League opener against Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday.

Mazraoui has a prior connection with United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, having played under him at Ajax from 2019 to 2022.

The full-back was a member of the Ajax squad that reached the Champions League semi-finals in the 2018-19 season and moved to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022.

Mazraoui, primarily a right-back but also capable of playing on the left, played a key role in helping Morocco become the first African team to reach the World Cup semi-finals in Qatar in 2022.
