Throughout his remarkable career, Brazilian legend Ronaldinho played for clubs such as Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona, and AC Milan. At 44 years old, he has won the Ballon d’Or once and was named FIFA World Player of the Year twice.

Ronaldinho concluded his playing career in 2015 after his time with the Brazilian club Fluminense.

Fans are astonished by the English club Ronaldinho’s son has just joined.

Joao Mendes, the son of Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho, has reportedly signed with a new club.

Ronaldinho, who had a stellar career with teams like Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, and AC Milan, also won the Ballon d’Or once and was named FIFA World Player of the Year twice. He retired from professional football in 2015 after a stint with Fluminense.

His 19-year-old son, Joao Mendes, previously played for Flamengo, Vasco da Gama, Boavista-RJ, and Cruzeiro before joining Barcelona’s youth system in 2023.

However, fans are shocked to learn that Mendes has signed with Burnley, a club in the English Championship. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on social media: “Ronaldinho’s son João Mendes has signed as a new Burnley player.”

One fan reacted online: “I can’t believe it. The son of THE Ronaldinho is now a BURNLEY player???”
