Recent press reports have shed light on German star Ilkay Gundogan’s request to leave Barcelona during this summer’s transfer window. There has been considerable speculation about whether Gundogan would remain with or depart from the Catalan club.
According to these reports, Manchester City is interested in re-signing Gundogan after his departure last summer. Gundogan, on the other hand, is seeking a move after realizing that his role at Barcelona would be secondary under coach Hans Flick for the current season.
