Liverpool are reportedly considering the option of reintroducing Marco Verratti to European football. The Italian midfielder, who is currently playing for Al-Arabi in the Saudi Pro League, might address the Reds’ midfield issues.
After their deal with Real Sociedad for Martin Zubimendi fell through, Liverpool have been actively seeking a new central midfielder to strengthen their squad.
Given the limited options on the market, Verratti’s experience and quality could make him a compelling target.
At 31, Verratti has had a notable career in Europe, especially with Paris Saint-Germain, where he cemented his status as one of the top midfielders globally. Despite concerns about his age, his technical skills and passing range could still prove valuable to Liverpool.
