According to the newspaper, Manchester United has agreed to purchase Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona for 80 million euros. Manchester United has been pursuing De Jong for the past three years, and it seems they are close to securing him this time.
The report also notes that the deal is currently at odds with De Jong’s preference to stay at Barcelona, where he receives a salary. However, his stance may change before the transfer window closes.
