On Wednesday, 16-year-old Jim Thwaites had the rare chance to train with Manchester United’s first team at Carrington, a notable achievement for someone so young. Thwaites, who is highly valued by the club, was one of a few academy players invited to join the senior squad as they prepare for their upcoming match against Brighton. Thwaites has swiftly advanced through United’s academy and is considered one of the top prospects in his age group.
