Recent Spanish media reports have provided updates on the players leaving FC Barcelona’s first team during this summer transfer window. Hans Flick aims to offload players who are not part of his plans for the upcoming season, and their departure will help Barcelona register new signings.
Spanish journalist Atio Morito reported that Barcelona’s current focus is on facilitating the departures of Clement Lenglet, Mikael Fay, Vitor Roque, and Ferran Torres during the transfer window. The objective is to cut the wage bill and streamline the squad for Hansi Flick before making additional signings.
Morito also mentioned that Flick has informed Laporta that this quartet’s exit would be beneficial for both them and the team. Players unwilling to leave will be relegated to the bench and won’t see any game time this season. It is noted that Clement Lenglet is nearing a move to Atletico Madrid, Mikael Fay is likely heading to the Premier League, and Vitor Roque might join Real Betis on loan. The only player resisting a move is Ferran Torres.
