Rodri makes history with EA Sports FC 25 rating, it’s never been done before

Manchester City midfielder Rodri looks set to make history with his EA Sports FC 25 card after it was leaked online.

Rodri is emerging as a top candidate for this year’s Ballon d’Or, following his crucial contributions to Manchester City’s fourth consecutive Premier League title and Spain’s Euro 2024 victory in Germany. His achievements are reflected in a significant upgrade in EA FC 25 ratings.

Ahead of the game’s release on September 27, ratings for key players and teams have started to leak, revealing Rodri’s rating has risen from 89 to 91. This places him among the elite players in the game. Notably, Rodri’s rating is on par with that of teammates Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, and Barcelona’s Aitana Bonmati.

According to leaks from @DonkTrading on X, Rodri’s rating surpasses those of Kevin De Bruyne, Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr, Harry Kane, Mo Salah, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rodri boasts impressive stats in EA FC 25, with 80 shooting, 86 passing, 84 dribbling, 87 defending, and 85 physical attributes. Remarkably, he will become the first defensive midfielder to achieve the highest rating in an EA Sports football game. Traditionally, forwards receive the highest ratings, but Rodri is setting a new precedent with this unprecedented recognition for a player in his position.

In addition to Haaland and De Bruyne, Manchester City players Ruben Dias, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, Ederson, and the returning Ilkay Gundogan also make it into the top 50 players in EA FC 25.

However, fellow defensive midfielder Casemiro has faced a dramatic downgrade, with his rating dropping from 89 to 84. Fans are criticizing his card as “unusable” due to a significant reduction in his pace, which now stands at just 38.
