Hansi Flick expresses his happiness after the victory over Valladolid and nominates the Barcelona duo to compete for the Ballon d’Or next year

German coach Hans Flick, the manager of Barcelona, expressed his satisfaction with his team’s 7-0 victory over Valladolid in the fourth round of the Spanish League. The goals were scored by Rafinha (who netted a hat-trick), Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde, Dani Olmo, and Ferran Torres, all at the Luis Companys Stadium. Flick commented on the match in statements reported.

Hansi Flick expressed his delight following Barcelona’s 7-0 win over Valladolid in the fourth round of the Spanish League. The goals at the Luis Companys Stadium came from Rafinha (with a hat-trick), Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde, Dani Olmo, and Ferran Torres. Additionally, Flick has nominated two Barcelona players for the Ballon d’Or next year.

Flick, in comments reported by the Spanish newspaper Marca, said, “We performed well, and the team gave 100% from the start, creating opportunities right away.” He added, “Our goal was to win the first four matches, which we achieved. I’m very happy, and the fans have been fantastic; I feel great energy from them.”

He continued, “When you see the stadium shaking with this victory, it’s clear that the fans have witnessed something special. The team also feels this support and becomes even more driven to score goals.” He added, “I promise Barcelona fans they will see the best version of Rafinha and Lamine Yamal this season. This duo will be among the top contenders for the Ballon d’Or next year. Remember my words.”

Barcelona currently sits at the top of the Spanish League table with 12 points and will face Girona in the next round on September 15.
