Hansi Flick expresses his happiness after the victory over Valladolid and nominates the Barcelona duo to compete for the Ballon d’Or next year

German coach Hans Flick, who manages Barcelona, expressed his delight after his team’s 7-0 victory over Valladolid in the fourth round of the Spanish League. The seven goals at the Luis Companys Stadium came from Rafinha (who scored a hat-trick), Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde, Dani Olmo, and Ferran Torres.

In comments reported by the Spanish newspaper Marca, Flick said, “We performed excellently, the team gave their all, and we created chances from the start.” He added, “Our goal was to win the first four matches, which we achieved. I am very happy, and the fans have been wonderful, providing me with great energy.”

He continued, “When you see the stadium shaking with this victory, you understand that the fans have experienced something extraordinary. The team, feeling the support of the fans, becomes even more eager to score goals.” He added, “I promise Barcelona fans they will see the best version of Rafinha and Lamine Yamal this season. This duo will be strong contenders for the Ballon d’Or next year. Mark my words.”

Barcelona is currently leading the Spanish League table with 12 points and will face Girona in the next round on September 15.
