Real Madrid’s season has not begun as ideally as the club would hope, given their high aspirations. However, at Valdebebas, they are particularly impressed with one player’s performance. In their recent 2-0 victory over Real Betis in the Spanish League’s fourth round, Kylian Mbappé scored both goals.
According to Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, Carlo Ancelotti considers Fede Valverde’s performance to be the best not only at Real Madrid but across Europe. His impressive contributions in terms of goals, assists, and overall effort are noteworthy, especially considering he has achieved this without a pre-season and with minimal training.
Carlo Ancelotti recently told Real Madrid officials, “Right now, the best player in the world over these past two weeks of competition is Valverde; he is performing at the highest level.” This acclaim comes as no surprise, given Ancelotti’s earlier public praise of the Uruguayan midfielder.
Ancelotti remarked, “Valverde demonstrates great responsibility toward the team. It’s easy for me to say he is irreplaceable due to his quality, strength, and intelligence. It’s a pleasure to have him with us. When Kroos departed, we found the perfect replacement, not just in terms of quality but also mentality.”
