Former Barcelona Boss Xavier Hernández has been appointed as the manager of this shocking Premier League Club

Xavi appears to be interested in coaching in the Premier League after leaving his role as Barcelona manager at the end of the season.

The Spanish coach recently stepped down from his position at his boyhood club, where he spent three seasons and secured one La Liga title and a Supercopa de España.

Although his next destination remains uncertain, there are hints about his future. SPORT reports that Xavi, a four-time Champions League winner, is considering a break due to the intense pressure he faced at Camp Nou. He is reportedly inclined to take on a new challenge in the Premier League.

The possibility of Xavi joining Manchester United is also being explored, as the club reviews Erik ten Hag’s future. According to the Times, a decision may be made soon, with United hoping to finalize their choice within the week.

Thomas Tuchel, a previous candidate, no longer seems to be in the running. It is reported that he met with Sir Jim Ratcliffe in Monaco last week, where he pitched himself for the Old Trafford position. Tuchel allegedly promised to enhance the performance of English players Mason Mount and Jadon Sancho but left the meeting with the understanding that the job would not be his if Erik ten Hag were to be dismissed.

Ten Hag has returned from his end-of-season break and is still uncertain about his future. After the FA Cup final win over Manchester City, the Dutch coach commented, “I’m not focused on this. I’m currently engaged in a project, and we are exactly where we want to be.”

“We’re in the process of assembling a team, and when I started at Manchester United, things were in disarray. We’re now working on building a team for the future. There will be challenges along the way, but the progress is visible with the team’s growth and victories, ultimately aiming for trophies.

“The squad is getting better, and we’re winning titles. Securing two trophies in two years isn’t too bad, and reaching three finals is also commendable. However, we need to continue advancing. I’m not satisfied with the current situation. We must improve, and if the club decides they no longer want me, I’ll move elsewhere to continue winning trophies, which has been my focus throughout my career.”
