Toni Kroos’ departure from Real Madrid has left many feeling disappointed, and Carlo Ancelotti is noticeably missing a crucial player in his plans. Real Madrid is now focusing on finding a replacement for Kroos.
According to the Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, Real Madrid is considering Vitinha, a 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain, as a potential replacement. Vitinha has impressed with both PSG and the Portuguese national team in recent performances. The club is keen on signing him due to his strong qualities and suitability for their midfield.
Vitinha, who is under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until the summer of 2027 and valued at around 60 million euros, represents a challenging target for Real Madrid. The strained relationship between PSG and Real Madrid, especially after the Kylian Mbappé saga, makes this transfer seem difficult.
However, Real Madrid hopes that pressure and Vitinha’s own ambitions could compel PSG to consider selling him. Despite the obstacles, the club has made signing Vitinha a priority for 2025 and will monitor how the situation develops to see if he will ultimately join Real Madrid.
