Numerous substantial offers have been made to Barcelona for their top players, but these have been turned down as the players prefer to remain with the Catalan club. Recently, a Spanish media report has revealed a notable
development concerning Barcelona’s Brazilian star, Rafinha Diaz, who is enjoying a remarkable season. According to the Catalan newspaper “Sport,” Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal engaged in serious discussions with Rafinha Diaz during the last transfer window.
In August, Al-Hilal made a significant offer of 100 million euros to acquire Rafinha, along with a four-year contract worth 25 million euros annually, quadrupling his current salary. Nevertheless, Rafinha Diaz declined the offer, stating, “No, thank you, I want to make history with Barcelona.” It’s also worth mentioning that Al-Hilal has been active in the transfer market, signing Brazilian Marcos Leonardo from Benfica and Portuguese Joao Cancelo from Manchester City.
