BREAKING NEWS: Coming live from Anfield, Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a move for a £50m rated winger who has been likened to Lionel Messi. The transfer window may have ended a few weeks ago, but for Liverpool’s sporting director and the rest of the club’s recruitment team their work is never ending as they agree personal terms with Japanese international. According to Reports, Liverpool are ready to pay the Japanese international’s €60m release clause, which roughly translates to £50m. He Said, “Kubo is very focused, very professional and we want him part of our project. We are preparing for the future already”. Pre agreement done, Liverpool to sign ‘superstar’ £50m winger likened to Lionel Messi in January.

Liverpool is reportedly preparing to pursue a highly-rated winger valued at £50 million, who has been compared to Lionel Messi. Despite the transfer window closing a few weeks ago, Liverpool’s recruitment, led by sporting director Jörg Schmadtke, continues as they plan for the January and summer transfer windows. The club is working on a list of potential targets while also considering the futures of key players like Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Liverpool is focusing on improving their right-wing depth. Although Federico Chiesa, acquired from Juventus, can play on the right, he prefers the left side. With uncertainty about Salah’s future, Liverpool is looking at alternatives, including Japanese international Takefusa Kubo. According to *Strike90mins* in Spain, Liverpool is prepared to activate Kubo’s €60 million release clause, approximately £50 million.

Takefusa Kubo, often called the “Japanese Lionel Messi” by *FootballWave*, has been highly praised since his youth. Former Mallorca CEO Maheta Molango noted Kubo’s professionalism and the influence of his family in fostering his humility and work ethic, which he believes will drive Kubo to football stardom.

Speculation about Kubo’s move to Liverpool has been fueled by recent comments from Wataru Endo, a current Liverpool player and fellow Japanese international. Endo hinted at Liverpool’s interest in Japanese players, stating that evaluations of Japanese players in England are improving. He mentioned that Liverpool staff had inquired about Japanese players, indicating growing interest in talent from Japan.

Liverpool’s focus on Japanese players is part of a broader strategy. The club made history by signing Takumi Minamino, their first Japanese player, and later added Endo. Additionally, Liverpool strengthened their ties with Japan through a partnership with major Japanese media company Kodansha in 2021, shortly after Minamino’s arrival.

Signing Takefusa Kubo would address Liverpool’s on-field needs and support their off-field strategy. Kubo’s talent and marketability in Japan make him a valuable option for the Reds as they seek to enhance their squad and expand their global presence.
