Nottingham Forest achieved the biggest upset of the Premier League season so far by beating Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield, thanks to a spectacular second-half goal from substitute Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Liverpool dominated much of the first half, with Luis Diaz hitting the post in the 17th minute.
However, they struggled to finish their chances and their usual attacking sharpness was missing.
Their profligacy was punished in the 72nd minute when Anthony Elanga delivered an excellent crossfield pass to Hudson-Odoi, who cut inside and curled a stunning shot beyond Alisson.
Despite winning their first three league games under Arne Slot without conceding, Liverpool seemed bereft of ideas in their attempts to respond, with their best opportunity being a header from Virgil van Dijk that sailed over the bar.
