Mo Salah’s agent drops overnight update on client’s Liverpool future after ‘insider’ claims

Mo Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has made another rare appearance on X (formerly Twitter) to clarify some details around his client’s future.

The Colombian has addressed online reports suggesting he has “inside information” about the 32-year-old’s future with Liverpool.

Despite some turbulence in recent seasons, the No.11 has made a significant impact, contributing to 85 goal involvements across all competitions during that time. This season, he has started strongly, with three goals and three assists in the first three games under new manager Arne Slot.

Although he will be 33 when his current contract ends, can Liverpool afford to let him run down his deal and potentially shine at another top European club after 2025? Liverpool needs to balance their financial sustainability with keeping key players. However, it’s reasonable to expect that a new contract wouldn’t dramatically increase his current salary, allowing the club to secure his services for his remaining peak years at Anfield.
