German international winger Leroy Sane has been linked with a move back to the Premier League in recent weeks.
The 28-year-old, who has previously demonstrated his skill in English football with Manchester City and secured major titles with them, is now attracting interest from three Premier League clubs. Liverpool, Arsenal, and Newcastle are reportedly closely monitoring his situation, according to Football Insider. With just 10 months remaining on his current contract with the German club, and no extension agreed with Bayern Munich yet, he could be available on a free transfer next year. It will be worth watching whether these English clubs make an offer. Additionally, the German international could negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign teams when the transfer window opens in January. Signing a player of his caliber on a free transfer would be a significant advantage.
All three clubs could benefit from signing Leroy Sane. Liverpool, in particular, could use more quality and depth on the flanks, especially if Mohamed Salah departs in the summer, when he will become a free agent. Sane could effectively replace Salah, and his previous Premier League experience would likely help him adapt quickly and make an immediate impact.
Arsenal also need additional width. Adding Sane would provide Mikel Arteta with more options, allowing him to rotate Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli more frequently.
Newcastle, on the other hand, have been heavily reliant on Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak for goals and creativity. They need more attacking depth and quality, and Sane would be a strong addition. It remains to be seen which club will secure his services.
