New report gives huge Bukayo Saka injury update ahead of Man City clash after Arsenal star limps out of North London derby

A new report has given a fresh update on the suspected injury suffered by Bukayo Saka in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Spurs.

In his post-match interview at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Arteta revealed he had difficulty sleeping due to the injuries to Odegaard and Riccardo Calafiori before the match, as well as Declan Rice’s suspension.

He told BBC Sport: “We had to make some adjustments because of the players we lost. I spent five days preparing for the Tottenham game, and then I lost one player, and shortly after, another. I didn’t get much sleep!”

“There were no excuses or complaints. The players are resilient and passionate about the game. Sometimes winning requires doing the tough things, and they embrace that. I appreciate it because each day, the players become more determined and eager.”
