Barcelona has kicked off the season impressively in La Liga, achieving five consecutive victories that place them at the top of the standings with 15 points, four points ahead of rivals Real Madrid. This outstanding performance showcases the team’s collective strength and commitment, boosting the club’s ambitions in both domestic and international competitions.

In related news, reports indicate that under president Joan Laporta, Barcelona is looking to leverage German coach Hans Flick’s expertise to secure a significant signing for the upcoming season.

According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo,” Barcelona is in competition with Real Madrid to sign Joshua Kimmich, the Bayern Munich midfielder whose contract is nearing its end. Kimmich appears determined not to renew his contract with Bayern, which opens the door for Barcelona. Additionally, coach Hans Flick, who previously worked with Kimmich at Bayern and the German national team, is eager to reunite with him.

The newspaper notes that Barcelona’s management believes Flick’s role as head coach will give them an advantage in the race for Kimmich, increasing their chances of acquiring such a high-caliber player.
