Hansi Flick acknowledges that this player was the best against Getafe, and this player is the worst since the beginning of the season

Barcelona continues its impressive run in the Spanish League after defeating Getafe, remaining undefeated after seven matches, with Real Madrid currently holding the title. The Catalan team, under German coach Hansi Flick, has amassed a perfect 21 points this season.

Following the match, Flick praised French defender Conde, telling him, “You didn’t win Man of the Match, but you were undoubtedly the best tonight. Congratulations on your excellent performance.” Conde has significantly improved under Flick’s guidance, taking on more offensive responsibilities while also solidifying his defensive role.

On the other hand, Flick expressed disappointment in Ferran Torres’ performance. Despite missing the last two matches due to a red card, Torres did not make the expected impact when he came on as a substitute.

Flick informed one of his assistants that he had to include Ferran Torres in the lineup due to numerous injuries; otherwise, Torres would likely have been sidelined permanently.

The newspaper also reported that after the match, Laporta congratulated the players on their hard-fought victory and advised Flick to be cautious with talented young star Lamine Yamal. He warned that overusing Yamal could heighten the risk of injury and suggested that Flick keep him on the bench in upcoming matches to preserve his health for the season.
