Liverpool has reportedly submitted a substantial offer to acquire Juventus striker Kenan Yildiz, even after facing an initial refusal.
The 18-year-old, priced at €40 million (£34.4M), has attracted interest from Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig, but all were informed that he is not available for transfer.
Sporting director Jorg Schmadtke persuaded Liverpool to make a bid, but Juventus quickly rejected it, emphasizing that Yildiz is not for sale.
A transfer could still happen if the right offer emerges, but Liverpool’s main focus right now is on strengthening their defense and midfield.
