Barcelona star expected to miss some weeks after fresh injury blow

An update has emerged regarding the injury suffered by Barcelona forward Ferran Torres. He was forced to leave the match against Deportivo Alavés early due to a muscular issue. Barcelona is aiming to secure a three-point lead at the top of La Liga before the October international break, and they are currently on track for their eighth win in nine matches, largely thanks to Robert Lewandowski, who scored all three goals in the first 32 minutes.

However, while one player shone, Torres had a difficult night. He limped off the field just three minutes into the game due to a muscle concern. Early reports suggest that Torres is facing a spell on the sidelines. According to Javier Miguel from Diario AS, initial assessments indicate a femoral biceps injury, which will likely keep him from joining the Spanish national team for about three weeks.
