Ronaldo Disappointed by international team mate Decision to Join Barcelona Over Real Madrid

**Ronaldo Voices Disappointment Over Silva’s Move to Barcelona Instead of Real Madrid**

Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his discontent regarding his Portugal teammate Bernardo Silva’s decision to join Barcelona rather than Real Madrid. The Al-Nassr forward, who has deep ties to Real Madrid from his legendary time at the club, indicated he would have preferred Silva to either join him in the Saudi Pro League or sign with Madrid.

In a candid statement, Ronaldo shared their conversation: “I told him to join Real Madrid if he didn’t want to come to the Saudi Pro League, but he said he’s going to Barcelona instead. I hope it’s a good decision for him.”

Having spent nine successful seasons at Real Madrid, winning multiple Champions League titles, Ronaldo believes Silva should have chosen the Spanish capital if he aims to win Europe’s top prize. “If Bernardo wants to win the Champions League, Real Madrid is the club to join,” he emphasized, highlighting the club’s prestigious European history.

Reports indicate that Silva is leaning toward a move to Barcelona under new coach Hansi Flick. The Portuguese midfielder, instrumental in Manchester City’s recent successes, seems excited about the prospect of joining the Catalan club, contrasting with Ronaldo’s preference.

Barcelona is in the midst of a rebuild under Flick and is eager to strengthen their squad with top talent, making Silva’s potential arrival a crucial part of their strategy. Despite Barcelona’s recent struggles in Europe, Silva appears optimistic that the project under Flick can restore the club to its former heights.

Ronaldo’s remarks suggest he believes Silva is missing an opportunity to enhance his legacy by joining Real Madrid, known for its Champions League success. However, he concluded by saying, “I hope it’s a good decision for him,” showing his desire for his compatriot to succeed, even outside of his former club.

As the football world closely monitors the situation, the transfer saga surrounding Bernardo Silva continues, with Barcelona emerging as his likely destination over Real Madrid.
