Barcelona have expressed interest in Thomas Partey as they aim to explore the free agent market for potential signings.
Despite a strong start to the 2024-25 season under Hansi Flick, Barcelona is looking to strengthen their squad. According to Relevo, the Catalan club is targeting a move for Arsenal’s Thomas Partey next summer, when his contract expires.
Due to ongoing financial difficulties, Barcelona finds it nearly impossible to pay hefty transfer fees for top players. Consequently, they are focusing on acquiring players who will be free agents at the end of the current season.
Thomas Partey’s role at Arsenal has decreased since Declan Rice joined from West Ham last summer. The Ghanaian midfielder, who has also faced injury problems since last season, is reportedly looking for an exit from the club.
