### BREAKING: Bukayo Saka’s Injury Return Date Confirmed as Arsenal Reveals Availability Timeline
Arsenal may face several weeks without Bukayo Saka after the winger injured himself while playing for England.
Just a month after Martin Ădegaard suffered an ankle injury on international duty, Saka appeared to sustain a hamstring injury during England’s UEFA Nations League match against Greece. The 23-year-old stopped playing shortly before Vangelis Pavlidis scored, leaving the game in the 52nd minute.
Following the match, England interim coach Lee Carsley noted, âHeâs being assessed. In the build-up to the first goal, you can see he felt something in his leg.â
Saka received medical attention on the field before limping off. With seven crucial matches ahead for Arsenal, including Premier League games against Liverpool and Chelsea, his absence would significantly impact the team’s title chances.
### When Will Bukayo Saka Return?
Both Arsenal and England have yet to provide a clear diagnosis or timeline for Saka’s injury. The winger will undergo further tests to determine the severity of his condition and potential recovery time.
If the injury is serious, Saka could be sidelined for about six weeks. For comparison, Liverpool’s Alisson, who suffered a hamstring injury on October 5, is not expected to return until mid-November.
Saka may miss key Premier League matches against Bournemouth, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Chelsea, as well as Champions League games against Shakhtar Donetsk and Inter Milan, plus an EFL Cup match against Preston.
If the injury is less severe, he might only miss the match against Bournemouth and the Champions League tie against Shakhtar. Ideally, Arsenal hopes to have Saka back for the Liverpool match on October 27 if it turns out to be a minor issue.
One thing is clear: Saka will be unavailable for England’s UEFA Nations League match against Finland on October 13.
### Potential Replacements for Bukayo Saka at Arsenal
Replacing Saka is a challenging task, as he leads the Premier League with seven assists in as many games and is among the top right-wingers in Europe. Mikel Arteta has several players who could step in, but none match Sakaâs skill set.
Last season, when Saka was absent, Arteta opted for Gabriel Martinelli, who, while primarily a left-winger, has played on the right for both club and country. Martinelli has two goals and two assists in seven league appearances this season.
Raheem Sterling is another option, having played on the right-wing for Chelsea last season. Although he brings versatility and experience against top clubs, he has yet to score in the Premier League since joining Arsenal, though he did contribute a goal and an assist in the EFL Cup.
Gabriel Jesus filled in on the right-wing when Saka missed a match against Manchester City last season, but his limited appearances this season have not been impressive, making him an unlikely starter against Liverpool or Chelsea.
Arsenalâs situation will become clearer once the club provides an official update on Sakaâs injury.
