Flick expressed his excitement for tonight’s vital UEFA Champions League match against his former club, Bayern Munich, while emphasizing the strong team spirit within Barcelona.

As the head coach of Barcelona, Flick will face Bayern at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. He has made a strong start in his role and noted that the atmosphere in the squad is very positive leading up to the match.

In a statement to the club media, Flick praised the camaraderie among his players, stating, “The mood is great. I’m really happy with the team because I can feel their spirit with each other and their competitive edge against opponents. This is essential for winning; they have a strong desire to give their best for the fans, the club, and the team.”

Reflecting on his past with Bayern, Flick fondly recalled his time there: “I had wonderful years in Munich with many great memories due to our success and the relationships I built with players and staff.”
