ARSENAL 🏟️🔥ArsenalArsenal squad receives a big boost as 3 key players recover from Injury and ready to feature in the next matches

A recent update from Arsenal indicates that captain Martin Ødegaard is making significant progress in his recovery from an ankle ligament injury. This comes as a timely boost for manager Mikel Arteta, especially with a demanding fixture schedule ahead. Ødegaard, who injured himself while representing Norway in September, is expected to start training on grass this week, according to the Daily Mail.

While it’s uncertain when Ødegaard will be match-ready, if he returns before the international break after Arsenal’s game against Chelsea on November 10, he could be available for Norway’s call-up. Norwegian manager Ståle Solbakken is hopeful for his availability. However, given Arsenal’s challenging upcoming matches against Newcastle, Inter Milan, and Chelsea, Arteta will likely prioritize Ødegaard’s fitness for those critical games.

The timing of Ødegaard’s potential return is crucial, as Arsenal hopes to have him fully fit soon. The club will carefully monitor his recovery to avoid rushing him back too quickly.

Additionally, Arsenal is keeping an eye on Gabriel and Jurrien Timber, both of whom picked up injuries during the recent 2-2 draw with Liverpool. Gabriel sustained a knee knock; initial assessments suggest it’s not serious, but he will undergo further scans. Timber reported tightness in his calf, which is believed to be cramp rather than a severe issue.

Another injury concern is Riccardo Calafiori, who has a knee injury. Although the full extent is still unclear, early evaluations indicate he could be sidelined for weeks rather than months.

Ødegaard’s potential return, alongside positive news about Gabriel and Timber, would greatly benefit Arsenal as they approach a pivotal point in the season. Arteta is eager to have his captain and other key players back to strengthen the squad for these challenging matches.
