€85 million-rated Napoli winger open to future Barcelona, Real Madrid move, confirms agent

Many elite football players aspire to join prestigious clubs like FC Barcelona and other top European teams. This allure continues to attract high-caliber talent to Barcelona, even amid the club’s financial difficulties.

Prominent players such as Robert Lewandowski, Ilkay Gundogan, and Joao Cancelo have been lured to Barcelona due to its historic legacy and strong reputation. This attraction also seems to resonate with younger prospects.

Recently, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a 22-year-old Georgian winger, was mentioned by his agent, Mamuka Jugeli, as a potential future target for either FC Barcelona or Real Madrid. Jugeli stated, “When Kvara is ready to play for Real Madrid or FC Barcelona, it will be assessed in the future.”

This interest is not surprising, as many players dream of representing one of the El Clasico clubs based on personal preferences.

Interestingly, Napoli, Kvaratskhelia’s current club in Serie A, is set to face Real Madrid in Group C of the UEFA Champions League this season. Although Real Madrid had shown interest in Kvaratskhelia before, a transfer did not materialize at that time. Nevertheless, with the agent’s insights and Kvaratskhelia’s father being a devoted Barcelona supporter, a move to the Catalan club remains a viable option.

Currently, Kvaratskhelia and his team view Napoli as the ideal environment for his development, praising the team’s strength with teammates like Osimhen, Di Lorenzo, and Zielinski. His agent emphasized, “With such teammates, it highlights the team’s quality, which is why we’re not considering leaving Napoli.”

There have been no discussions about a contract extension with Napoli, and the agent noted, “We’re satisfied with the current contract. Our focus is on defending the Scudetto and progressing in the Champions League. Kvara loves the city and his teammates; we’re not concerned with media speculation.”

As the UEFA Champions League remains a crucial goal for top clubs, both Napoli and FC Barcelona are striving for strong showings, given the talent on their rosters.
