Oleksandr Zinchenko Names Ben White as Arsenal’s Strongest Player, Surpassing Saliba and Gabriel

Arsenal’s dominance this season is largely attributed to their set-piece excellence and physicality, with key defenders like William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes showcasing their strength. However, a surprising revelation has emerged about one player’s gym prowess: Ben White, as highlighted by Oleksandr Zinchenko.

In an interview with Pro Direct Soccer, Zinchenko shared an unexpected surprise when asked about the team’s strongest player. “Who can lift the most? You’ll never guess,” he said, before revealing that White holds that title. “The weight Ben uses in the gym—it’s unbelievable. His numbers, whether for upper or lower body, are ridiculous.”

White’s commitment to fitness and his exceptional training routine have made him a key figure and a role model for younger players at Arsenal. Known for his calm and humble nature, the England international has become indispensable to Mikel Arteta’s team since his £50 million move from Brighton in 2021.

Last season, White was crucial in helping Arsenal achieve the Premier League’s best defensive record, with only 39 goals conceded over 38 matches. Off the pitch, he has also made a significant impact as a mentor and leader within the squad.

Though currently recovering from injury, White’s determination to return even stronger has earned praise from both teammates and coaches. His focus on continual self-improvement reflects the attributes that have propelled Arsenal into title contention, consistently pushing Manchester City for Premier League supremacy.

Zinchenko’s praise highlights that White’s physical strength and relentless work ethic are essential to Arsenal’s ongoing success, showing there is far more to his game than just his on-field performances.
