Florentino Pérez Stands by Real Madrid’s Fitness Coach Amidst Injury Crisis

Real Madrid’s season has encountered early difficulties, with a series of injuries to key players raising concerns about the team’s fitness. Important figures like Dani Carvajal, who is out for the rest of the season, and Eder Militao, who was injured before the international break, have been sidelined. Additionally, Lucas Vazquez and Rodrygo are expected to miss about a month after picking up injuries in the 4-0 victory over Osasuna. These setbacks have led to questions regarding the methods of Antonio Pintus, the club’s fitness coach, and whether his approach is contributing to the issues.

Despite growing criticism of Pintus’ training methods, including concerns about the physical condition of several players, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has opted to back his coach. With rumors suggesting Pintus’ potential departure, Pérez has made it clear he intends to keep him in his role, emphasizing the importance of continuity and unity within the club as they work through these challenges.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti, aware of the mounting pressure, is reportedly calling for more intense training in preparation for the upcoming Champions League match against Liverpool on November 27. With two losses in their first four Champions League games, the stakes are high for the club in all competitions.

Real Madrid’s leadership believes that maintaining unity during this challenging period will be key to their goal of staying competitive and fighting for major titles this season.
