Mika Biereth, the former Arsenal striker now playing for Sturm Graz, has shared his desire to eventually make a return to the Emirates. The 20-year-old Danish forward, who made a permanent move to Austria last summer after several loan stints, reflected on his time with Arsenal and his ongoing development.
Biereth, who joined Arsenal from Fulham in 2021, struggled to break into Mikel Arteta’s first-team plans, leading to loan spells at RKC Waalwijk and Motherwell before flourishing at Sturm Graz. In an interview with TV2, the young striker expressed his satisfaction with his progress: “Things are going well at Sturm Graz. I play every week at a high level, and now we’re also competing in the Champions League.”
Although focused on his current team, Biereth acknowledged his desire to return to the Premier League. “If I keep playing well and scoring goals, hopefully, a change can come. A return to Arsenal would be fantastic, but it’s not something I’m focusing on right now,” he stated.
With consistent game time and strong performances, Biereth is continuing to develop as a player, leaving the door open for a potential future return to Arsenal.
