Big blow for Lamine Yamal and Barca?

Barcelona and Lamine Yamal might receive some disappointing news before their upcoming match at Celta Vigo’s stadium.

FC Barcelona is gearing up to return to La Liga action this weekend, looking to bounce back from their recent loss to Real Sociedad. A key absence in that match was Lamine Yamal, the promising young player who usually plays on the right wing. Yamal picked up a right ankle injury during a Champions League game against Crvena Zvezda on November 6, which caused him to miss both the Real Sociedad match and recent fixtures for the Spanish national team.

Spain’s head coach, Luis de la Fuente, commented on Yamal’s condition, saying:

“Lamine Yamal is injured, and Barcelona has shared the relevant medical reports with us. We believe it’s best for him not to travel to prevent any unnecessary procedures. I wish him a swift recovery.”

With Barcelona’s upcoming match against Celta Vigo approaching, Yamal’s status is still unclear. Reports suggest that he continues to experience pain in his right ankle, casting doubt on his availability for Saturday’s game. His potential absence could be a notable challenge for Barcelona as they aim to retain their top position in La Liga.
