Real want to sign ‘NEW’ version of Barcelona star pedri

According to AS, which cited unnamed sources, Real Madrid wants to sign a young player known as the “new Pedri” in homage to the well-known FC Barcelona hero. After Pedri failed a trial with Los Blancos, the midfielder was notably rejected when he was unknown.

“Real Madrid told me I wasn’t at the right level when I went to try out. In 2020, after his breakthrough at Barcelona, he told El Larguero, “I thank those who told me that I wouldn’t make it, now I am in the team that I have always loved.” “I’ve always worn Barcelona shirts, so it was weird to wear a Madrid shirt,” the 21-year-old, a lifetime Culer whose father served as president of The 21-year-old, a lifetime Culer whose father served as head of a local Barcelona fan group called a “penya,” continued,

“I have always gone with Barcelona’s shirt, so it seemed weird to put on a Madrid one. A rare step in the right direction in terms of transfers by then-outgoing President Josep Bartomeu, Barca’s purchase of Pedri from Las Palmas for an initial $5.2 million (€5 million) in 2019 turned out to be one of the best deals of the century. Bartomeu’s excessive use of the Neymar money to acquire players like Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele, and Philippe Coutinho, followed by some that helped put the club

When the pandemic struck, they were on the verge of financial collapse in addition to having no revenue from matchdays. Barca is back on track, both on and off the field, nearly five years later. With his team six points ahead of fierce rival Madrid at the top of the La Liga table, Pedri is perhaps the best version of himself under Hansi Flick right now. He appears to have finally recovered from his injuries.

It should come as no surprise that competitors would do all in their power to get a young talent known as the “new Pedri.” AS explains that Aaron Martin, a midfielder and native of Tenerife, is “on the agenda of Real Madrid, among others” to bolster its team.

Martin is “regarded as a piece that can contribute a lot to the Castilla [the reserves] in the near future and to the first team in the long run.” Martin is available for a steal of about $2.1 million (€2 million), which is less than half of what Barca agreed to spend for its number eight, much like Pedri.

Martin, who was promoted from the junior squad to the seniors with few games in the reserves, is praised for his vision of the game and for the accuracy of his right foot. They have been scouting him for some time, but it is unclear which Spanish team will be able to persuade the prodigy and his team that their athletic endeavor is the most suitable for his.
