Hansi Flick decides after draw against Celta Vigo: I don’t want him to wear the Barcelona shirt again

The encounter between Barcelona and Celta Vigo, which took place yesterday, Saturday, as part of the fourteenth round of the Spanish League, concluded in a tie. At the Balaidos Stadium, Celta Vigo rallied from a two-goal deficit until the 83rd minute. With 34 points, Barcelona is now five points clear of second-place Atletico Madrid and seven points ahead of third-place Real Madrid, who have played two fewer games, as a result of the outcome.

The German coach is upset with the team’s star and feels that he should leave Barça right away, according to reports from the Catalan tabloid *Sport*.

According to the publication, De Jong infuriated the German coach, particularly when the Dutch player failed to apply pressure to the Celta Vigo player before he sent the ball into the net in the second goal. The article also said that De Jong has previously exhibited this behavior in a number of games, which contributed significantly to the team’s inability to win championships the previous season.

The publication claims that when Flick discussed De Jong with his assistant, he said, “He should not wear the Barcelona shirt again,” alluding to his intention to move the player and get a better player. The newspaper’s conclusion noted that Laporta had previously alerted Flick to the Dutch player’s severe indolence on the field.
