French newspaper L’Equipe reveals the real reason for Kylian Mbappe’s suffering with Real Madrid this season

A French media report has revealed a new reason behind Kylian Mbappé’s struggles at Real Madrid since his transfer last summer. According to the newspaper L’Equipe, a coach closely working with Mbappé stated that the French forward’s difficulties stem from his ongoing adjustment to his new teammates. The coach emphasized that achieving team harmony at Real Madrid will be challenging due to technical factors.

The report mentioned that Real Madrid lacks a clear strategy, and Mbappé requires a teammate capable of creating opportunities for him, similar to how Neymar and Marco Verratti did at PSG, or how Antoine Griezmann supports him with the French national team. L’Equipe noted that the only player at Real Madrid who excels in this regard is Toni Kroos, but the club has yet to find an adequate replacement for him.

The article concluded with a quote from the coach, who explained that while Aurélien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga are strong players, they are not effective enough in passing or playmaking. He also noted that Jude Bellingham, despite his impressive performances, is not yet fully convincing when it comes to creating attacks and is not on par with Neymar in this aspect.

The newspaper urged Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez to sign a player with similar qualities to Kroos if he wants Mbappé to return to his best form and overcome these difficulties.
