Real Madrid is seeking the assistance of former player and coach, Zinedine Zidane, to address the struggles of Kylian Mbappé, who has not met expectations in his first season at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Following a disappointing performance at Anfield, where Mbappé missed a penalty during his team’s 2-0 defeat in the Champions League’s fifth round, criticism of him has increased.
According to the Catalan newspaper Sport, Real Madrid has contacted Zidane to help resolve Mbappé’s issues, as his form has dropped since leaving Paris Saint-Germain, where he had previously excelled.
The newspaper further stated that Zidane, who has a close relationship with Mbappé and was the first to suggest his move to Real Madrid, may be able to influence the young forward’s performance. The club has asked Zidane to speak with Mbappé and offer guidance, knowing that Zidane faced similar challenges in his first season at the club before becoming a legend.
