German coach Hans-Willich Flick has reprimanded two key players for their subpar performances, particularly in the match against Las Palmas. According to reports, the players themselves acknowledged the need to improve and felt they should have secured a win against Las Palmas.
Spanish outlet “Relevo” reported that Flick stressed the importance of unity and solidarity among the players during these challenging times. While he refrained from singling out any one player, he criticized the duo of Koundé and Lewandowski, urging them to improve their contributions both defensively and offensively.
It is also worth noting that Barcelona has earned just one point from their last nine available in La Liga, losing the points advantage they once had over Real Madrid following their recent Clasico victory.
