Hansi Flick addressed several key issues during his press conference before Barcelona’s La Liga match against Mallorca. One of the main topics was the incident involving Raphinha not passing the captain’s armband to Frenkie de Jong during the Las Palmas match.
“I didn’t notice this detail, and there was no specific reason behind it,” Flick stated. “In Germany, we typically don’t pass the captain’s armband around, so I’m not sure why it happened this time.”
Flick also praised Raphinha’s dedication to the team. “Raphinha is one of those players who always gives his best,” he added.
“Although we had a strong start to the season, November proved to be more challenging for us. The league is a long journey, and we’ll need to fight hard if we want to secure the title at the end.”
“For me, the most important thing is that November is behind us,” Flick concluded as he looked ahead to the Mallorca match.
