Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich has stated that he plans to make a decision about his future in the winter, as he considers whether to stay at the club or leave.
Kimmich has been linked with a potential move to Barcelona and had previously left the door open for such a transfer when the two teams faced off in the Champions League earlier this season.
Now, when asked again about his plans for next season, Kimmich confirmed that he wouldn’t wait until the end of the season to make a choice. “I will not wait until summer. I will sit down in winter and try to see the bigger picture, making the right decision,” he told ZDF Sportstudio.
Bayern Munich has expressed their desire to begin discussions on a contract extension with Kimmich, hoping to keep him at the Allianz Arena. However, it remains unclear whether he will leave or if Barcelona still has interest, especially with the rise of young talents Marc Bernal and Marc Casado.
